This dish is very similar to the regular hot-dog, but instead of using the normal bun, Waffle-dog uses waffle instead. Furthermore, there are other things that differentiate Waffle-dog and a normal hot-dog too such as the sauce, and the extra ingredients in the Waffle-dog.

Well, Waffle-dog is only exclusively sold at “Chessy”, probably the first place in town that introduces this idea. There are 3 kinds of Waffle-dog dishes on the menu such as “BBQ lover”, “All in one”, “Super Sloppy”; they all taste quite a bit different from each other as well. I can’t describe them all to you guys, but I will describe one of the dish that I have tasted which is the “All in one” one.

Aside from the waffle and the sausage as the main ingredients, “All in one” dish contains bacon, mushroom, cheese, and other vegetables inside of it. The Waffle tastes generally sweet and the ingredients inside is a bit salty, which then combine and make the dish into sweet and salty at the same time.

 

In addition, the bacon is a little bit crispy and the mushroom is a bit mushy which create extra unique texture to the dish. When you first bite into it, it feels a little strange because of the texture of the dish, but you’ll love it on the second bite.

Despite the great taste of the dish, there is a downside to it as well. Waffle-dog can’t be left too long, it must be eaten quickly or else it won’t taste the same anymore. The reason is that waffle is only taste good when it is ho; when it becomes cold, it will be a little bit soggy. It won’t be a good idea to order it for delivery if your home is far from the restaurant.

 

“Waffle-dog” is one of the creative dishes in town that is new and unique. The taste is great, and the price is similar to a regular burger which is acceptable considering to the ingredients put into the dish. This dish is something you definitely want to try, so go check it out. Then you’ll know the taste better like I described above.
