Very soft and delicious steamed egg recipe!
What can you make out of eggs? If you couldn't think of one, we would like to share a simple and tasty egg recipe with you. It is called Korean steamed egg, which requires only a few ingredients to make this dish.
Ingredients
- 3 Eggs
- 3/4 tsp. Salt
- 3/4 tsp. Fish sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. Cooking wine
- 1 cup of water or chicken stock
- Green onion (finely chopped)
Instructions
1. Firstly, heat the earthenware pot over high heat for 5 minutes.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine egg, salt, fish sauce, and cooking wine then mix well until smooth.
3. Then add the water or chicken stock into the pot and bring it to a soft boil. Make sure that it is soft boil since it is very important to make the steamed egg silky.
4. After that pour the egg mixture into the soft boil stock then whisk it. Reduce the heat to medium-low and keep whisking for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until the egg mixture becomes silky and smooth. Then cover the lid and steam for 5 minutes.
5. Once the steamed egg is cooked, sprinkle the green onion on top and it’s ready to serve!
