5 convenience stores in Phnom Penh where you can buy pre-cooked foods
Before, convenience stores (we call them Mart in Cambodia) were small retail businesses that stocked a range of everyday items only such as snacks, instant coffee, soft drinks, ice cream, tobacco, toiletries, and newspapers/magazines. But recently with the change in working lives, people are busier and eager to save some money for their lifestyles - so convenience stores are now adding pre-cooked foods to their shelves.

7-Eleven is known worldwide for its variety of everyday items, snack foods, and pre-cooked food. And, we were very excited to hear of its franchise coming to Cambodia. Even though there are thousands of 7-Eleven on earth, 7-Eleven in Cambodia is inspired by the Thai Style of serving Pre-cooked foods. Ranging from fast food such as dim sum and hotdogs to pre-cooked food such as burgers, sandwiches, and rice, 7-eleven is busy every minute.
