Before, convenience stores (we call them Mart in Cambodia) were small retail businesses that stocked a range of everyday items only such as snacks, instant coffee, soft drinks, ice cream, tobacco, toiletries, and newspapers/magazines. But recently with the change in working lives, people are busier and eager to save some money for their lifestyles - so convenience stores are now adding pre-cooked foods to their shelves.

A Japanese standard Convenience mart serves you 2 kinds of pre-cooked foods. The frozen one and the ready-to-eat. The ready-to-eat is somehow similar to foods and snacks sold at AEON Mall but of a lesser variety. But you can also find buns and pastries there.

Circle-K is a spot to go for noodles, package rice, frozen foods, and a signature snack “Chinese Tea Egg”. Circle-K is a 24 hours Mart that opens throughout the day. A trendy item in this mart is Rice with a skewered meatball. It looks interesting to try. The marts provide seats depending on the branches.

A newly opened mart plus Café with the first Ramen Station that allows you to enjoy cooking your noodles along with side toppings. MR. Fresh Mart does not just serve frozen burgers, steam buns, and hot dogs, but also coffee.

A Minimart originates from Lucky Supermarket, serving ranges of pre-cooked fried rice, noodle, steam bun, and more. The froster here serves in a fruity flavor. LUCKY MINI RAINTREE isn’t a spacious one, so seats are not available here.
