Although it’s a new-comer that just opened earlier this year, Soul Coffee House is undoubtedly one of the audience favorites. It’s well-known around the IFL area for its creative drinks, colorful yet appetizing desserts and the minimalist and snapworthy decorations.

Today, as seen in the headline, we're here to see what they can bring to us this September and let us tell you, it's pretty amazing! Kickstarting with the 4 Ice Cream Series, it is their pastry desserts with Ice Cream on top.

What a deal since we get to enjoy two desserts at the same time! There's only one flavor of Ice Cream, Vanilla. While we're familiar with how delicious and addicting the flavor is, Soul Coffee House makes it even more special with what they get served with! A little head up, they’re not all the same! Each dessert is different from one another based on their names. 

Unlike usual, they matched the Croffle with Ice cream instead of fresh cream in this new creation, in which the Croffle still maintains their unique, buttery, crunchy yet fluffy bites.

There are 3 varieties that go with the Croffle. First we got to try the Honey Ice Cream Croffle. They drizzled a little bit of honey on top which was just amazing since it gave a ting of natural sweetness to the dessert. The crunchiness from the Croffle and the almond topping just went really well with the ice cream.

 

The Oreo Ice Cream Croffle was the second thing we tried. Again, the drizzle of chocolate sauce and Oreo crunchies topping was a yummy bonus!

Last but not least, the Strawberry Ice Cream Croffle! The strawberry sauce drizzled on the top and the fresh strawberry slices on the side were just the perfect combination of sweet and sour. Needless to say, this one is easily our personal favorite. 

We only had their special in the Ice Cream Series, no more croffle more Brownie! They put the vanilla ice cream on top of a chocolate brownie which has a fudgy texture and a strong chocolate flavor. This is the one for our sweet tooth’s readers!

Now let’s get to the drinks! We tried their two new Latte series, one of which was the Soul Avocado Latte (which we thought was a Matcha Espresso at first), a combination of light coffee shot and milk with the avocado sauce underneath. Both flavors were well-balanced and didn’t overpower one another. Wondering what it tasted like? It was ideally sweet with a little kick of caffeine. The avocado sauce was made right at the cafe which contributes such a unique smell and texture to the drink.

The other one is called Hojicha Strawberry Latte which primarily consists of the roasted aroma from the Japanese tea. If you like something fresh, sweet and sour, we recommend you give this a shot!

Their new menus are overall interesting so if you're planning to go on a date, Soul Coffee House is right there!
