In honor of Singapore turning 57 this year, the Singapore Club Cambodia (SCC) organized a very eventful reception, with the support of the Singapore Embassy in Cambodia, to match the excitement and enthusiasm of the people back home.

SCC: Singapore National Day 2022 fell on 13 of August and was held at Himawari Hotel with the special attendance of Ms. Teo Lay Cheng, Singapore Ambassador to Cambodia. 

Upon registering and paying for the admission fees at the entrance, guests and visitors were free to roam around networking, feasting on the food displayed on their respective stalls and overall just enjoying themselves and the festive atmosphere. 

FoodBuzz was thrilled to be invited after hearing that there would be plenty of authentic and tasty Singaporean and non-singaporean dishes and we were not disappointed!

As the event brought together businesses and brands founded or managed by Singporeans in Cambodia, we noticed several well-known restaurants and brands in attendance as well. 

For instance, restaurateurs and vendors from Boncafe Cambodia, Dakshin’s, Dim Sum Emperors, Klang Boy, Kitchen 23 KH, Samba Brazilian Steakhouse, Prawn Paradise, UP2U Bistro and 9 Bistro Bar were the sponsors of this event and they graciously provided numerous variety of food and drinks for the reception. We were stuffing ourselves full from the beginning till the end!

Additionally, iconic brands like Powerpac, PhillipBank, Midea as well as Himawari Hotel were also the sponsors of this event. 

After all these difficult years, we bet we’re not the only ones to be grateful for this amazing opportunity to celebrate as a whole!
