Two years in pandemic, the economy around the world goes downhill. Every industry experienced a degree of disruption as COVID-19 swept the nation yet the food and beverage sector was possibly the most severely impacted. Many have temporarily closed down and some have gone forever. Changes that took place will endure long term and will have a lasting impact. 

Even a year after the pandemic, all entrepreneurs are still worried about a long-lasting impact on businesses. F&B Managers Nite Out is created for the purpose of helping out connecting all businesses in Cambodia. And this is the 3rd time of the event already.

On March 11th 2023, F&B Managers Nite Out was hosted by Legend Cinema at Olympia mall. Although Cinema is not considered a food and beverage sector, the cinema is also one the sectors that got impacted severely in those two years. Mr Ros Tevoneat, the Managing Director of Legend Cinemas mentioned that, “Two years during the outbreak, we suffered a lot. Since after the covid, the business changes – and with a new norm, all businesses should work together so that we can all grow.” 

That night, we saw that many entrepreneurs came and had a good time exchanging name cards, enjoying the drink and food and sharing the same topic about business. It’s a lively night and we are really grateful that we can be a part of this event. 

To make such a lovely night, we can’t forget to be thankful to the organizer of the event, Mr Anuar, to the host of the event, Legend Cinemas, and sponsors - GBS, Hanuman and Pro Vida. So, what was there in the event during night?

Setting the first step into the event, we saw a counter desk that was welcomed by the Legend Cinemas team – they had to register our name and reminded us to place our name card in a lucky draw box to win prizes later in the event. Sponsors even had welcomed gifts for us including movie tickets, cup coasters and more.

There were many foods served such as sandwiches, mini burgers, fried rice, roasted duck, popcorn, beer, wine and more. Guests were enjoying both food and drinks while having conversation during the event. The night concluded with a movie after a party. Guests were invited to watch Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and enjoyed the night. 

It was a successful night and we hope that the event will keep doing what they are doing to build connections and grow the business stronger.
