Minister Huot Hak stated that the International Food, Beverage, Hotel, and Hospitality Supply Chain Fair is a platform that promotes the tourism sector in Cambodia.
Cambodia Hosts Successful International Food, Beverage, Hotel, and Hospitality Supply Chain Fair 2025
From October 22 to 24, 2025, Cambodia held the International Food, Beverage, Hotel, and Hospitality Supply Chain Fair (CAMFood & CAMHotel 2025) at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Center in Phnom Penh. The event was presided over by H.E. Huot Hak, the Minister of Tourism. It attracted a diverse array of participants, including representatives from the government, the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, and various local and international stakeholders.
In his opening remarks, Minister Huot Hak emphasized the significance of the fair as a vital B2B platform. It provides an environment conducive to market interactions, creating opportunities for local and international investors and professionals to network, engage in discussions, and promote business growth and market expansion within Cambodia and across Southeast Asia.
The fair facilitated valuable meetings between local and international suppliers and distributors alongside tourism and hospitality professionals, including hotel and restaurant operators seeking high-quality products, equipment, and services. Furthermore, it served as a forum for exchanging experiences and knowledge within the industry.
Minister Huot Hak highlighted that the organization of CAMFood & CAMHotel 2025 reflects Cambodia's commitment to developing the tourism sector, particularly in the MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition) industry. The event showcased Cambodia's stability and favorable investment environment, aiming to attract investors to explore the potential in tourism and emerging supply chains.
The level of participation at the event was impressive, featuring 250 to 300 booths from nine countries—including Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, the United States, China, the Republic of Korea, Italy, Finland, and Singapore—and attracting an expected 12,000 visitors.
In addition to the main event, several key side programs were organized, including:
- A Service Skills Competition for Wine Service
- A Coffee Brewing Skills Competition
- Training in Cooking Skills and Khmer Culinary Demonstrations
- A Workshop on "Tourism Vocational Training and Career Development
Minister Huot Hak concluded his address by calling on all distinguished guests to embrace and promote the campaign that embodies the slogan "Tourism Grows in Peace!" as articulated by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet. He urged everyone to contribute to making Cambodia a warm and welcoming destination for tourists.
