Tasty yet healthy recipe - Sweet Fried Tofu

Consider trying out any meat-free dishes, then this Sweet Fried Tofu (or General Tso's Tofu) would be the perfect one for you. Comes with a crispy, sweet, and a little bit spicy taste as well as healthy, you surely won't regret spending your time making this dish.

#Ingredients:

  • Firm tofu 280 grams (cubed)
  • Soy sauce 2 tbsp
  • Apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Cornflour 6 tbsp
  • Garlic (minced) 2 cloves
  • Oil 

For The sauce 

  • Soy sauce 3 tbsp
  • Apple cider vinegar 3 tbsp
  • Water 3 tbsp
  • Sugar 3 tbsp
  • Corn starch 1 tbsp
  • Pepper 1/8 tsp (optional)

#Instructions 

1. Start making the marinade by adding soy sauce, the apple of cider vinegar.

2. Put the tofu cubes in a bowl, then pour in the marinade mixture and stir and let rest for at least 5 minutes. After that, drain the tofu from the marinade.

3. Coat tofu cubes with corn four 

4. Heat some oil in a pan and put in the tofu cubes, Use medium-high heat to cook the tofu cube until it becomes golden brown, then set aside

5. Making a sauce by whisking well the soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, water, sugar, cornflour, and pepper

6. Stir-fry the garlic until golden brown and pour in the sauce and cook it over medium-high heat, stirring it frequently until it thickens. 

7. The last step, add the tofu cubes, keep stirring for 1 to 2 minutes, then Your Tso's Tofu is ready.
