Replicate this easy and quick Steamed Om Bok with Coconut Milk dessert! Deliciousness is guaranteed!

Water Festival has just finished but the Om Bok that is left after the offering to the moon is still a lot! I know every household experiences this almost every year already so today, FoodBuzz will give you all a solution to create a delicious and fragrant dessert out of your leftover Om Bok! 

Ingredients

1. Om Bok (2 cans)
2. Coconut Meat (150g)
3. Pandan Water (250ml)
4. Coconut Water (150ml)
5. Sugar (90g) & (30g)
6. Coconut Milk (350ml)
7. Corn starch and water mixture (50-75ml)
8. A pinch of salt 

Recipe

  1. Mix the Om Bok, Coconut meat, pandan water, coconut water, and sugar (90g) together thoroughly

2. Boil some water in a steaming pot while scooping the mixture into glass containers or bowls

3. When the water is boiling, put the mixture to steam for 12-15 minutes. 

4. While the dessert is being steamed, get a pot and put in the coconut milk on medium heat until thoroughly boiled

5. Put in the sugar (30g), a pinch of salt, and the corn starch water to thicken the texture 

6. Bring it to a boil and turn off the heat

7. When the desserts are ready, top them with the thickened coconut milk and a pinch of black sesame to enhance the look!
