One of the most healing Bone Marrow Noodle Soup in Phnom Penh!

Cambodia is starting to get chilly during this time of the year. Sounds like the perfect time to try one of the local favorite dishes to combat the cold weather, Bone Marrow Noodle Soup! The FoodBuzz team got to try this small family-owned restaurant a few days ago and we think you’d love it.

Seyha’s Kuy Teav Sorsei Khang Chnganh, located in Sen Sok, has been open for 7 years already and is open from early morning till late at night so you can satisfy your craving at any time!. While it looks small and simple from the outside, their regulars have been flocking to this place for their daily steamy bowl of noodles. Their signature dishes are Kuy Teav (rice noodle) and instant-noodle soup with a wide selection of meat such as beef, beef elbow and even Bone marrow! Most of their regulars prefer a little bit of everything in their bowl of noodles.

The broth in this restaurant tastes rather bold with an almost beefy aftertaste because he left the bone marrow simmered along with other ingredients for hours to bring out the extra-bold flavor. Another special thing that makes this restaurant standout is that rather than using bottled dipping sauce, they made their hoisin sauce in the house with their own secret recipe. Talking about cooking with love!

If you want to try their signature dishes, we’d recommend trying their Bone Marrow Noodle Soup! Once ordered, you’ll get one bowl of noodle soup and one bowl of huge bone marrow and soup. Don’t be intimidated by that huge bone, it’s actually very easy to enjoy the marrow. Just pour some broth into that bone marrow hole, mix it a little and then slurp it up with a straw! With one slurp, you’ll get a mouthful of flavor with that juicy bone marrow and beefy broth!

Are we making your stomach growl? Well, come down to Seyha's Kuy Teav Sorsei Khang Chnganh and try it out yourself!
