Very Easy Salted Duck Egg Recipe

Since we are under lockdown, we need to stock up as much food as possible. In addition, we need to know how to use the ingredient efficiently as well. Today, FoodBuzz would like to show you how to make salted duck eggs which can be stored for a long time, delicious, and can be used in different ways.  
 

#Ingredients 

  • 960ml water 
  • 280g salt 
  • 1 tablespoon of cooking wine
  • 12 duck eggs

#How to Make 

1. Rinse eggs and place them in a jar. Set aside.

2. Boil water in the medium-size saucepan, add salt and stir until dissolved. Turn off the heat to cool completely and add Shao Hsing cooking wine.

3. Pour the salt solution into the egg jar and make sure all the eggs are fully submerged in the saltwater. 

4. Put the lid on and place the jar in a cool spot at room temperature for 21 days and enjoy. 

5. If you want the eggs to be saltier, leave them in the brine for another week.
