Hey, 2000s kids! Reminiscent the taste of your childhood at Patom Vei!

Everyone who grew up going to public primary schools in the 2000s are all adults now. With all the responsibilities, don’t you ever want to go back to the good old days? Back when we used to buy warm breakfast for only 200-300 riels at the school market (Phsar) and then shared it with our friends. Well, Streetbuzz is here to recommend this place of nostalgia. From the food we used to eat to the decor that captures the oldtime atmosphere, it brought us right back to the past with just one bite.

PatomVei is a restaurant with a variety of typical Khmer breakfast food such as: rice, noodles, soup, fried meatballs, ice cream, soybean milk and mini traditional Khmer dessert of all kinds. Not only that! At the restaurant, there is a new dish called Angkor Bok porridge. The texture of the noodle is soft and chewy, and it can be eaten with Nom Jerng Jruk (Khmer Dessert). In terms of charm, you can not forget the iconic Coca-Cola glass bottle!

The Khmer Dessert at PatomVei is always changing as the owner chose to support elderly dessert-makers and sold based on what they make for the day. These acts of generosity touched us the most.
