Maxnclaire Bistro is a Hungarian restaurant based in Phnom Penh that has just been reopened recently. Owned and operated by a complete and warm family, this restaurant is located in a humble location of the city’s heart, the Toul Kork area.
The pride of this place is Beef Brisket which has to be preordered 2 days prior to picking up. The reason is Beef Brisket has to be prepped and cooked for almost 2 days before it’s ready and up for indulgence.
First, a big chunk of USDA beef is marinated with their special seasonings and then is put into the chiller for 24 hours for the thorough marinade. After 24 hours of chilling, the beef is taken out to charcoal smoke for another 8-10 hours then is put to rest and cut into thin tender slices.
Juicy and super tender, dipped in Barbecue sauce to balance out the initial salty seasonings, a great combination of flavors!
