Before heading off to work or school, it would be very nice to savor a hot soup like boat noodles as your breakfast. We have found a very well-known boat noodle shop known as Jie Mab Boat Noodle. Surprisingly, they have a huge space and the one that we visited is one of the 3 branches. 

The one that we visited is located at Steung Meanchey while the other 2 are located at DN market and Toul Tom Poung area. Although there are a variety of dishes to choose from, we highly recommend you try out their signature boat noodle with Mee Chiet. 

For one boat noodle dish, the ingredients include Thai-style soup, fresh-cut beef, seafood, pork, and meatball. What makes this dish even more appetizing is the Mee Chiet that is added to the soup. In addition to that, boat noodles are made with steamed chicken and duck as well. 

You would also smell the aroma just by sitting nearby. As for the Mee Chiet noodles, whatever kind of soup is very well blended together. In each plate, you will get Chinese fried dumplings so it is perfect to dip in the chili sauce as it is very crispy.  

The price is really reasonable. A plate of noodles costs only 10,000 riel, you will be able to eat until you’re full. If you don’t prefer boat noodles, you can try other types of foods that are available in the restaurant but the one that you shouldn’t miss is the boat noodle with Mee Chiet.
