Feel like cooking a k-food? How about Korean Honey Butter Fried Chicken?

You may have ever tried the popular Honey Butter Fried Chicken but do you happen to know that its recipe is very simple and easy? Let’s learn about it with us! 

#What to prepare

  • ½ kg chicken
  • 1 egg 
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground pepper
  • ½ tsp baking soda or baking powder
  • 3 tsp corn starch
  • 3 tsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1.5 tsp soy sauce
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Sesame

#How to cook 

  • Cut the chicken into medium pieces then marinate it with salt and pepper (leave it for about 15mn).
  • Crack the egg into a big bowl along with corn starch, flour, and baking soda, put in the marinated chicken, and mix until well-coated.
  • Heat the pan and deep fry the chicken for around 10-15mn, take them out.
  • Put them back in and fry another time until well-cooked and crispy.
  • In the empty pan, heat it with butter then add in chopped garlic. Once it becomes crispy, add in soy sauce and sugar and mix until well-blended.
  • Put in the honey and give it the great mix until it becomes bubbling.
  • Add in the deep-fried chicken and coat them well with the yummy sauce. 
  • Shower the sesame on them when serving.
