Flat White Cafe is another newly opened cafe located in the Sen Sok commune. Having such a name inspired by a type of caffeine drink, Flat White Cafe was founded by a lovingly married couple who are passionate about coffee and baking.

From an exterior view, Flat White Cafe looks just like what the name suggests, a classic white flat giving off some European house design vibes. While being modestly elegant from the outside, as soon as I stepped in, it felt like a cozy accommodation. With homely decors and beaming smiles, it felt warm to the heart and the soul. There are also a bunch of photogenic spots which you can take pictures of yourself for your social media feeds. 

Flat White Cafe serves a big menu of drinks and desserts created and carved to their very own standards. I especially love the Soy Sesame Gateau Cake as it has a nice aroma of sesame without being too overpowering. The taste is also unique and not too sweet, suitable almost for everyone! Another is Strawberry Omelette whose every element works so well together creating a very airy taste with a slight acidic punch of the topped fresh strawberry.

Matcha Sesame Coffee is one of the signatures of Flat White Cafe. With 3 earthy elements combined together in one cup, it creates an almost intense taste. However, as a Matcha lover, I wish the taste had a bit more umami from the Matcha, would be even lovelier to sip the drink! On the other hand, Backyard Garden is a completely different drink. It has a sweet-sour refreshing taste making it a great summer drink for Cambodia’s weather. 

Flat White Cafe has a very cozy and clean environment with delicious drinks and desserts, most suitable for a date with your significant other and having conversations over coffee with your friends.
