A modern jubilant bar where you can see live band performances and dance freely while having some good food and enjoying the variety of their brand new drinks.

On September 17, 2022, Five6Eight Bar & Bistro hosted a special event and invited Pich Solikah to perform for the evening. The FoodBuzz team also got to join, too! We got to try their amazing food and drinks while enjoying the performance. 

Five6Eight got its name because it is located on street 568. What an easy way to remember for those who are bad at directions! The interior of this bar is very modern and classy but with a very lively atmosphere that you can feel all your stress flying away the moment you get there. This bar is also spacious with a great seating arrangement that you can sit anywhere and still be able to enjoy the performance on stage. 

Let’s talk about the food there! The pizza was definitely our personal favorite. Their Foie Gras Pizza has a thin, crispy crust and when you pull out a slice, you see the long stretchy strings of cheese. What makes it even more special is the savory Foie Gras that fits perfectly with the fragrance of truffle oil. 

Their Shrimp Lollipop comes with 5 sticks that make it fun and easy to eat. The outside is super crispy while the shrimp meat on the inside is plump and soft. 

Their Baked Oyster with Mushroom Cream was supposed to be an August-only menu, but thanks to its popularity, they decided to serve it in September as well. The fresh oysters were grilled with cheese until it turned golden, but you can still taste the freshness of the oysters. 

Wanna try something unique? How about their Bay Sach Jrouk (rice with pork)? We’re used to eating this from local stalls, not from a bar, but the one from Five6Eight is just as good. The pork is marinated well and then grilled to perfection. You can customize whether you want the egg omelet style or sunny side up. 

Let’s talk about their drinks. Passion Cloud is their specialized cocktail with passion fruit and with a large cloud-like bubble on top that bursts into smoke once popped.

Another unique drink from  Five6Eight is YiHue Jam Snae which were topped with dried squid.
