It is a brand-new year and decade for everyone and new year always brings a fresh wave of excitement of attempting new year’s resolutions, and our FoodBuzz team new year’s main resolution is to try out new cuisines. Here is a list of popular fast food brands that we need in Cambodia.

#1 Subway

With 42,998 restaurants worldwide, Subway, is now the world largest fast food restaurant chains, selling sandwiches and salads with diversity of flavors. Some of our fellow foodies may have already tried this 6-inch sandwich at our neighboring countries and have fallen in love with the combination of diverse ingredient, vegetables and meat in the menus that Subway has offered. Who wouldn’t like an affordable, delicious and quick sub whenever you are on the go?

#2 McDonald’s

We are all probably familiar with this American fast food company as they are ALMOST everywhere. McDonald’s is predominantly well-known for their burgers, sandwiches, chicken nuggets, salads, breakfast menus, desserts and soft drinks. Petition to bring McDonald’s to our kingdom, please!

#3 Pizza Hut

While there are quite a few numbers of international pizza franchises in Cambodia, but we foodies will always be greedy for more. On behalf of our foodie community, we are seriously looking forward to the arrival of the Italian-American cuisine menus that Pizza Hut will offer. Hopefully, it is soon, as soon as possible.

#4 Taco Bell

Taco Bell is now one of the healthiest fast food chains and it is added to the reasons why we need them in Cambodia. Who is excited for Mexican menus from Taco Bell? Our FoodBuzz team can’t wait to take our first bite of their famous tacos!

#5 Dunkin’ Donuts

Besides their cute and mouthwatering donuts, Dunkin’ also serves savory sandwiches, other baked goods and drinks which are all stacked with flavor. Looking good?

#6 Jollibee

When it comes to fast food, we shouldn’t miss out Jollibee, the famous Filipino multinational fast food restaurants. Burger Steak, noodles, spaghetti, hotdog, burger, crispy fried chicken, and buttered corn; we have been waiting so long to devour them! Hi, @Jollibee

#7 4Fingers

Who is craving for the flavorful and crispy Asian fried chicken from 4fingers that make you lick your fingers clean? Nuh uh, no questions asked, because our FoodBuzz team definitely IS!

#8 Five Guys

Former President Barack Obama popped by a Five Guys restaurant in Washington DC for a cheese burger back in 2009. Finally, a restaurant Obama loves that we can actually afford! Hello, @Five Guys. Notice us, please!

#9 In n Out Burger

The menu of In n Out Burger consists of only burgers, fries and beverages. However, this American privately owned family business has been very popular in Southwest and Pacific coast. It is approved by the renown British chef, Gordon Ramsay who is known for his blunt and strict personality.

#10 Matsuya Foods

As one of the biggest fast food chains in Japan, Matsuya Food serves Gyudon aka Beef Bowl, curry rice, breakfast sets and other dishes as well. With their longtime competitor, Yoshinoya have already presented themselves at the airport, it’s about the time you step up your beef bowl game, Matsuya Foods!

#11 Panda Express

The privately held fast food restaurant chains, Panda Express has served American Chinese cuisine and has run 2,200 restaurants around the globe. We sincerely hope that the next restaurant will be in Cambodia!

#12 Wendy’s

By upholding the founder, David Thomas ‘s “Quality is our recipe.” philosophy, Wendy’s has been so successful with over 6,700 restaurants globally. With their restaurants in Philippines and Indonesia, we hope to see one too in Cambodia!
