Located in the heart of Siem Reap city, a walking distance from Pub Street and Angkor Night Market, The Missing Socks Laundry Cafe might seem small but their menu is packed with a variety of Khmer and Western dishes and quick bites. Also home to The 2016 Cambodia Barista Champion, the cafe serves delicious coffee drinks, tea, beer and more so if you’re looking for some a quick boost of caffeine while waiting for your laundry to dry, take a look at one of the coffee drinks on the menu!

We opted for Signature Waffle Burger after hearing a lot of rave reviews on it and we couldn’t be happier! With two warm pieces of freshly-cooked waffle straight from the iron in substitute of the regular burger buns, a thick and juicy beef patty and a perfect sunny side-up egg, every bite was a burst of ecstasy. It is without a doubt The Missing Socks Laundry Cafe has perfected their waffle recipe for the waffles is just a flawless balance of crispy texture on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The waffle definitely gained FoodBuzz’s stamp of recommendation and we are quite sure it will taste good with any add-ons, be it savory, sweet, meat or fruits like what’s on the menu.

For drink, Chai Tea Latte was our pick and for our uninformed readers, Chai Tea is basically spiced milk tea with its origins from India. Mixed with spices like Black Tea, Ginger, Cinnamon, Star Anise and more, the flavor might be a little intense for those not used to it but we totally enjoyed it. Both refreshing and rich in flavors, the tea powder will leave a slight sting sensation on your tongue (which is expected).
