As the business passed down from generation to generation, Kuang Seafood honed their skill from time to time and is now a highly praised restaurant in different parts of the world including Japan, Korea, China, and Taiwan.

One bite of any dishes from their menu and you’ll understand the masterful craft that is one of a kind seafood taste you just cannot get anywhere else. Our team at FoodBuzz has sampled 5 distinctive dishes, it’s truly hard to put the almost-indescribable level of delectability into word (but we’ll try). 

It would be weird if we didn’t start the review with their number one signature dish. So, with that being said, let us introduce you to Stir-Fried Crab with Curry Powder, which spices brings out all the best flavor of the plump crab for you to savor, munching on a big plate of deliciousness. From the alluring smell to make you start salivating upon first sniff to the taste and the texture, this master crafted dish nailed every component you can name of! 

Moving on, we have Hong Kong Style Kailan in Oyster Sauce where the sweet and crispy vegetable pairs perfectly well with umami-rich Oyster Sauce and dried Shiitake mushroom to create a perfect blend of flavor and texture. 

Next up, it’s the Tom Yum Soup with Mixed Seafood, because who would go to a Thai seafood restaurant without trying this heartwarming dish, right? Flavor-wise, the Tom Yum soup is overall a detailed dish with many flavors aspect combined into one, but Kuang’s Seafood Restaurant managed to create a perfect balance between sweet, sour, savory, spicy, and creaminess, resulting in an unforgettable dish of mixed seafood broth. 

We can’t forget about the unique Chinese Oyster Omelette in Hot Pan with a soft or crispy option. Our dish was super crispy, super delightful, making it all so unforgettable. The oysters gave this omelet the distinctive taste while the crispiness makes it so enjoyable. 

You think all these are just so great right? But we saved the best for last! Their Stir-Fried Baby Clams with Chili Paste is just one of the best Seafood dishes ever made. They embraced the spiciness with this one, and are not afraid to go bold! The sweet, savory and spicy components make for one punch of a flavor to make you go “this is one of the best foods ever”. They definitely nailed the entire components with this one, from the tastes to make you dream about at night and high-quality big clams that bring joys to the table. 

From their Stir-Fried Crab with Curry Powder to the Stir-Fried Baby Clam, Kuang’s Seafood Restaurant demonstrated why they’ve been dubbed the “master of seafood” and how good seafood food should be made – as fresh as possible with herbs and spices plus great dipping sauce. It’s remarkably iconic and should be on every seafood lover’s bucket list.
