Their signature dish is the Hungarian Mangalica, a breed of Hungarian Wild boar with European pig. The meat has majestic marbling and the right ratio of low fat and meat. It’s nothing like you’ve seen before and we bet you’ll adore this! We’ve also had the English Berkshire Black Pig Tomahawk which is a fine cut originating from England, and tastes like true heaven! The Tomahawk is extra plum and extra juicy, it’s the steak of your dream. This pairs incredibly well with their sauce and it’s a taste you will never forget.

USA Beef Cuts with Grilled Cheese featuring Rib eyes and short ribs cut into a perfect cube, highlighting the incredible marbling and premium quality beef. The cheese is shipped from Korean directly and it’s super stretchy on the inside and chewy on the outside so it does not melt on the grill but will melt in your mouth. These two in one dish provides a euphoric taste and a melt-in-your-mouth texture! All barbeque dishes at Geumdwaeji are charcoal grilled on top of a stone tablet so it distributes the heat better and tastes better than regular BBQ. They’re often enjoyed with Himalayan Pink Salt and Wasabi, grinding from real wasabi plant! This is the height of authenticity, class, and elegance, this is the signature taste of Geumdwaeji. 

 

Geumdwaeji is not only home to the best BBQ but also other famous Korean dishes out there. K-drama fans must already know quite a few or maybe even all of them. Starting with, Cold Noodle with Soup (also known as Naengmyeon) which is a noodle dish served in cold chilly broth. The noodle itself is different from any other noodle you’ve ever tasted, it’s the smoothest and most elastic noodle you’ve ever tasted and the cold broth only enhances that experience.

Kimchi Pan Fried Rice is another example of a famous Korean dish. It was done perfectly right as the rice was still sizzling when it reached our table and the yolk had a perfect consistency, allowing to be mixed easily to compliment the flavor of kimchi fried rice. One of the most unique dishes we had savor was the Jellyfish Salad. As the name suggests, it’s a dish made with jellyfish paired with veggies, topped with shrimp and drizzled in sauces. It’s colorful, healthy, and tastes remarkable. 

If you love pork and the crispy texture, this one is your match! The Giant Pork Cutlet features a giant piece of pork deep-fried and covered in a crispy crust that breaks upon the first bite, releasing the extra juicy pork flavor, combined with the sauce, this dish stood out there among other extraordinary dishes. We’ve also been lucky to savor the taste of the Parboiled Squid which comes with its very own dipping sauce and salad. The squid was super fresh and still crunchy, the taste of natural sweetness is unparalleled! Meanwhile, the Crispy Cheese Potato Pancake is super crispy and as cheesy as it gets. The cheese pull is almost unbelievable, it not only tastes great but also fun and Instagrammable!

 

Important note: All dishes at Geumdwaeji comes with a refillable side dish for you to savor to your heart content! The side dishes vary with the type of food you ordered. Side dishes include kimchi, cold radish soup, green veggies, cucumber kimchi, Asian chive kimchi and many more!
