Coming into service on 13^th December, 2019 BROWN Roastery Pasteur introduce a “HOMEY EXPERIENCE” in the midst of fairly busy neighborhood. At the cross road between Pasteur and st. 282, stands a well-respected local coffee house people call “BROWN”. It’s a busy intersection surrounded with school and office buildings where hundreds of students and professionals pass by every day.

While most people spend their time in workplace and school in this neighborhood to finish off their to-do list, this café is designed to give the community a place to escape and reflect or help boost collaboration and creativity shall they aim at creating a masterpiece in their fields of interest.

The name of this local coffee house is “BROWN ROASTERY PASTEUR” in which its architectural designed is inspired by “HOME” feeling that anyone can feel belonged and intimated. The front space (outdoor) is meant to be a terrace where you can sit and relax under shadow of the tree while staying connected to the neighborhood and other people in the community or your friends.

If you take a step into this house, the house owner (BROWN barista) will welcome you with smile and their signature greeting word “SOUSDEY BONG”.

After talking to house owner informing them what kind of fine cup of coffee you’d love to have, walking straight, you’ll get to see the house owner’s shelving unit. At this part, the owner wants to show variety of hand-crafted coffee equipment and cups or tumbler where you can bring home (well, their merchandise is highly wanted so the cabinet can be really empty sometimes).

A bit further from shelving unit, stands a brewing bar functioning as a living room where you can have conversation with house owner (barista) on various topics about coffee including brewing methods and coffee origins. It’s your first time visiting the BROWN’s house, let’s explore!

Roaming around to second floor, on the right side, you’ll notice sitting arrangement where you can enjoy view of the neighborhood through a giant glass wall while talking to your best dude. It’s a space to really chill and doesn’t mean to be for serious discussion. On your left, stand a few box seating inspired by bedroom feeling where you can feel more privacy when discuss and work as a team.

The last part on the second floor is a communal space filling with a big dining table. You know what dining table at BROWN HOME is for, right? It’s a place we can get together over good cup of hand-crafted coffee to discuss and collaborate in a more open space where big idea could be found and refined.

Trust us, BROWN Roastery Pasteur is the latest space of BROWN whose store design is taken as serious as every drop of their finest coffee being served to you. When you visit, view it as your best friend’s house and you’ll see why the store is designed the way it is.
