Besides night market, street food, river side and so on.. we also need a good place just to sit down, relax and listen to the great music along with few friends talking about random stuffs at the end of the day.

#1 Hangar 44

If you want to experience the cool vibe surrounding by tourist alike, then let’s try Bassac Lane, where a huge collection of bars serve every local beer and imported craft. Hangar 44 is a friendly microbar and also one of the best bars that you should walk in if you’re into a bike.

#2 BOTANICO

Drinking an amazing taste of local brewed craft beer surrounding by a romantic light and garden hidden inside the heart of Phnom Penh, Botanico is one of the greatest bars to eat and drink along with the live music on every Friday and Saturday.

#3 Domrey Lounge

The best Handcrafted cocktails and must-see place in town goes to Domrey Lounge. This classical bar provide handcrafted cocktails infused with fresh local ingredients that makes Domrey Lounge very unique. Located near the Terrace of Elephants of the Royal Palace, Domrey Lounge is open every day from 6 PM to 1AM.

#4 Le Bouchon Wine Bar  

Here is a small and cozy bar that I ever recommend. I bet Le Bouchon Wine Bar would be the best choice for you to chill out if you wish for a quiet place. Located on the medium road makes the bar a must-see place of pilgrimage for hopeful walk-ins looking for a romantic view with their special wine.

#5 Freebird Bar

Love homemade burger with wine? I guess this bar would be perfect fit for you. Freebird is an institution in town known for its Hot Buffalo Wings and Homemade Burgers and a lot of great old tunes. I would also recommend you to try Taco there. Sitting in a comfort sofa, cold and surrounding by the colorful wines bottles. I am sure you will not regret to go there.

Bonus: The list cannot be valid without Battbong Bar. With its perfectly hidden location, Battbong has proved to be one among good, enjoyable, hidden bars in town you should try.
