Easy crispy pork & prawn wonton recipes!

During this COVID-19 pandemic, it can stop you from going out to eat but it cannot stop you from eating delicious food! You may not be able to go out to eat, but you can cook your own food at home. So, FoodBuzz would like to recommend an easy recipe for you to try, which is Cripsy pork & prawn wonton recipes.

#Ingredients:

  • 200g pork mince
  • 100g peeled and deveined prawns, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped spring onion
  • 2 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornflour (cornstarch)
  • ¼ tsp ground white pepper
  • 20 wonton wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for deep frying
  • Homemade sauce or chili sauce

#How to cook:

  • Step 1

Filling: mixed the pork, prawns, spring onion, soy sauce, salt, sesame oil, cornflour, and pepper.

  • Step 2

Put a wonton wrapper on a flat plate then put 1 teaspoonful of filling mixture into the middle of the wrapper. Brush the edge of the wrapper with water and fold into a triangle shape then pinch the edge together to enclose the filling. Next, pull two of the edges of the triangle together to form a tortellini shape. After that, keep repeating until you get the amount of dumpling that you want.

  • Step 3

For deep frying, fill the saucepan or wok to about 1/3 capacity of oil. Heat over high heat and when the oil is hot put the wonton then cook until golden. After that flip them a couple of times to make sure that they are cooked.

  • Step 4

Serve with your choice of dipping sauce.
