China is a large country with diverse cuisine, so it’s hard to capture the true essence of Chinese dish. Chinese food lovers can go through an entire year without eating the same food twice due to different cooking style and different region of origin. FoodBuzz seek to find authentic Chinese cuisine with various choices and authentic taste, which brings us to Dim Sum Emperors!

Known for their true taste and Chinese vibe to make you feel like dining in the Middle Kingdom, Dim Sum Emperors is now one of the most famous Chinese restaurant chains in Cambodia. They never cease to bring joy to the dining table, and now, they’re releasing more than 20 new dishes to the menu! It’s an extraordinary collection of good food and we honestly cannot wait to tell you all about it.

FoodBuzz visited their Toul Kork branch at Street 566 and upon entering; Dim Sum Emperors provide the look and feel of a fine Chinese restaurant. We got to taste 11 of their many new dishes so this is going to be a long list of euphoric food! Let us begin right away; here are ALL the dishes we got to savor.

Three Cup Chicken: super tender aromatic chicken braised in Chinese white wine, soy sauce and sesame oil with equal ratio (hence the name Three Cup Chicken) provides a nice mouth feel and bold in flavor.

Deep Fried Crispy Chicken: the perfect dish to have on a big dining table as it can be enjoyed by the whole family. The chicken is crispy and smells absolutely amazing! We urge you to try this one out.

Imperial Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs: as the name suggests, it’s an item fit for a king! The pork rib is both savory and a little sweet dripped in oozy sauce of deliciousness. It’s definitely a crowd pleaser.

Braised Pork Belly with Mui Choy: one word to describe this? Definitely perfection! The pork belly is well-seasoned which pairs seriously well with Mui Choy. It’s a match made in heaven. We don’t want to be bias but this is one of our favorite dishes on the new menu.

Deep Fried Prawn with Salted Egg Yolk: Yes, you read that correctly, it’s salted egg; a very trendy ingredient which can be found from savory plates to sweet delicacies such as donut, but Chinese cuisine is where Salted egg truly belongs. Deep Fried Prawn with Salted Egg Yolk pairs seafood with egg to create a dish rich in umami and texture.

Sweet and Sour Sliced Fish: composed of fish and mixed vegetable, this is a truly nutritious dish with vibrant color and remarkable taste.

Wok-Fried Two Colors Kailan with Beef: yet another classic dish; this simple but utterly commendable meal utilize the crispy vegetable and bold flavor of beef to create a dish rich in both taste and texture.

Seafood Udon Noodle: people commonly associate udon with Japanese cuisine, but this udon dish has a Chinese taste with bold flavor and aromatic seasoning, enjoyed with seafood topping.

Black Pepper Sliced Fish Rice: as an Asian, nothing fills you up better than rice. This rice dish is super enjoyable with the right amount of spice and fish that be enjoyed at any time of the day.

Samba Sotong Rice: a Malaysian dish that made its way to a Chinese dining table. Fresh squid cooked sautéed in chili paste makes an appetizing dish that can be enjoyed with vegetable and rice.

House Special Pork Ribs: yet another special meal, the tender pork ribs deserve a special praise. We totally recommend this intense-flavored dish at your next visit at Dim Sum Emperors.
