CHICHA Sanchen: Over 200 Branches Worldwide + An International Certification for Tea Quality Is Now in Cambodia

First established in 1998 in Taiwan, CHICHA Sanchen now has over 200 branches in 8 countries such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Singapore, the United States of America and the latest, Cambodia. The milk tea chain has recently launched its flagship store in the kingdom at the brand-new Chip Mong Baktouk Centre.

Sanchen is 3000 in Mandarin which was regarded as a significantly large number in ancient times as Taiwanese believed that it represented infinity. Even with over 20 years in the market, CHICHA Sanchen is still steadily growing and expanding thanks to the brand’s outstanding features that almost no other brands can come close to and we will tell you all about them today.

Do you know that each cup of drink at CHICHA Sanchen is freshly brewed? And when we say “freshly brewed”, we mean freshly brewed from scratch. With its brew-to-order feature, all teas at CHICHA Sanchen aren’t brewed in bulk and stored in buckets like at most milk tea stores you usually see.

For every order, the tea will be weighed and then brewed immediately with the fancy Tea Espresso machine right before your eyes so you know you always get the best and freshest quality of brewing. What an experience, aye?

Another cool feature is that you can also customize your drink down to the tea (base of drinks) with 6 types of available, flavors and toppings meaning you don’t have to drink the same few types of drinks every time but here, you get hundreds of variations of drinks you can choose from or if you can’t be bothered, just choose from the ready-to-order menu that CHICHA Sanchen has already prepared.

Also, a noteworthy feature is that CHICHA Sanchen’s Ding Dong Oolong Tea, grown on Lishan mountain 2000-2200 meters in high above altitude, holds a prestigious Highest International Authority iTQi certification for quality and not only that the tea is rare, it is also very expensive!

But luckily, you are privileged to taste it for FREE here at CHICHA Sanchen! Just head to the tea station and choose your pick from the 5 levels of tea available and wait while your tea is immaculately prepared and brewed by a professional. Remember to take in the aromatic scene of the mountain high Oolong tea before you indulge in the warm cup of tea.

The aroma of tea is evident since your first step into the store thanks to the continuous brewing of different types of tea and also the walls that are decorated with actual dried tea leaves because CHICHA Sanchen prides on the quality and source of their tea and they love to share it. Hence, CHICHA Sanchen also has Tea sets that you can gift to friends or family on special occasions.

FoodBuzz tried 4 different kinds of drinks such as King Bubble Milk Tea, made from Black Tea that is a little different from regular milk tea due to its stronger taste and a higher concentration of tea so this is for you if you want milk tea that isn’t overwhelmed by milk. Honey Osmanthus Oolong Tea with Konjac Jelly has a tea base of Osmanthus Oolong Tea and is perfect for anyone who loves tea but prefer it light, slightly sweet and refreshing.

Ding Dong Oolong Tea Latte has a creamy flavor and an alluring aroma to it and is neither too sweet or strong and we could recommend this to our readers who love a good balance of tea and milk in their drink. However, our favorite among the four has got to be Lemon Tart which is brewed with High Mountain Pouchong Tea and topped with Mousse. This particular drink is refreshing and the taste of lemon combined with the mousse is just a wonderful combination and we couldn’t get enough!
