Quick and easy Pchum Ben recipe: Braised Pork Belly with Quail eggs!

If you don’t know what to cook, you’re in luck because today the Cookbuzz team is here with another easy and non time consuming recipe, Braised Pork Belly with Quail eggs!
Ingredients:
Vegetable oil
Pork Belly
Palm sugar
Minced garlic
Garlic cloves
Star anise
Cinnamon
Spring onion
Water
Soy sauce
Quail eggs
Minced spring onion
Recipe:
1 Pour vegetable oil into a preheated pan then put the pork belly in and cook until the meat is slightly crispy before taking it out of the oil.
2 Pour the palm sugar into the pan and stir until it melts before adding the cooked pork belly in and letting it simmer a little. Add the minced garlic in and stir it thoroughly.
3 Then add the garlic cloves, star anise and cinnamon into the pan and continue stirring a little before adding in the spring onion.
4 Add in the water, close the lid and leave it to simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
5 Then pour in the soy sauce and add in the quail eggs then stir it well before covering for 2-3 minutes. Add in minced spring onion as garnish and we’re done!
