As you guys can see, recently the food trend in Phnom Penh is involved around spicy noodle. As a result, there are many restaurants pop up that sell “Hot Pot Spicy Lobster Noodle”. So today I’m going to pick one among them as the review topic which is the restaurant called “Best Food”.

 

Best one is a restaurant located at IFL area which is behind Domino’s Pizza for 2 blocks. This place sell many things such as: Hot Pot Spicy Lobster Noodle, Papaya Salad, Grilled Chicken Wings, Grilled Octopus, and more. In order to let you guys be familiar a bit of what the food at Best Food tastes like, I’m going to give you a few example reviews of the food I like and don’t like about that place.

The overall of food taste was okay. First of all, the Grilled Chicken Wings. The Grilled Chicken Wings were particularly delicious. The wings were very well seasoned as it was sweet and a bit salty. The overall taste of the chicken wings were very well balanced in your mouth. In addition, their Papaya Salad is also delicious, but the proportion of the food is a bit little.

 

Now for the food that I don’t really like is the Hot Pot Spicy Lobster Noodle. The soup I ordered was just your typical Tong Yum soup, not bad but also not that good, and the lobster was too little to even call a lobster. And not to say the noodle, the proportion was so little, they probably just use only half of a bag of instant noodle. However, the saving grace about this dish is their appearance. It was very appealing as they dress it in a traditional pot. And I like this concept a lot.

As you are now familiar with the taste of Best Food’s food through what I have described above, it’s time to talk about their restaurant’s environment and services. They were quite bad to be honest. The seats were small, so it is really hard to sit. The order taking process is quite slow, and the fork and the chopsticks were still wet from the cleaning, so they could considered to be dirty and unhygienic. But if you’re with your friends, those things don’t really matter that much right?

 

Overall, my experience at Best Food restaurant was not that good. But some of my friends like the food there, so maybe it suits your taste too. Maybe you can try it out yourself for experience purpose.
