#1 Block 11

Who doesn’t know that Block 11 is a famous eating block around Toul Kok area? Head up with pork buns/baluts for the appetizer, wonton noodles/spicy Korean food/burger as main course and finish off with a relaxing cup of KOI or refreshing drinks in under five dollars.

We’re sure that the eating area behind Vanda University would come up in mind when choosing what to eat. Well, because they offer amazing choices of food with affordable price starting from hot volcano meatballs, sangvak, dry noodle and especially the mesmerizing ice-cream roll. All to die for, all for 5 dollars.

#4 Wat Botum Watey (Botum Watey Pagoda)

Located next to the Royal Palace, the food section behind Botum Watey Pagoda is famous for their 3 flavors of Khmer noodles: spend around 2.5 to 3$ for the noodles then only another 2$ for You Taio (fried donut) and milk green tea! A full tummy with a still-full wallet!

#5 Toul Tom Pong Area

Another location that tourists love to visit is of course, Russian Market/Toul Tom Pong Market filled with souvenirs and tasty interesting food on a budget. For instance, you can challenge yourself with 1-dollar steamed snails and crabs then wash it off with NS2R drinks for about 1.5 dollars. Affordable main dishes may include banh mi from Banh Mi & Bro. Not to mention Toul Tom Pong food court opening till late with food starting from 2000 Riels.

#6 Vegetarian Restaurants

Wanna try new things and get away from meats? A few vegetarian restaurants especially our suggested Vitking House offer low-calorie salad, main dish (fried noodles, burgers, wonton soup), and drinks (fresh juices/milk tea/frappe). Plus, each dish costs only about 2$ to 3$ each. Healthy and wealthy! Who says we can’t?!

“Mak Ah Kang” is a restaurant/block well-known for their organic baluts and homemade pickled garlics. Thus, spend 10000 riels to get about 4 to 5 of them. After such tasty treats, you can get another bowl of Khmer noodle for only 5000 riels! Last but not least, they also offer many kinds of desserts and fruit shake in an affordable price.

#10 Karem Songtra

Back then before Burger King or Lotteria, Karem Songtra was the best choice for either sandwiches, pizza, hot dogs and of course burgers! You can get their special burger (double cheese, double meats, fried egg) and an appetizing fried drumstick for around 10000 riels. Then, spend the remaining cash for shaved ice desserts or refreshing cool ice cream!
