People in Phnom Penh are quite familiar with this meatball stall since it comes to Phnom Penh 2 years ago. But it’s never better than the original place. The freshly made meatball and unique dipping sauce have earned Je Mei Battambang Meatball a reputation as one of the best beef ball stalls in Cambodia.

#5 Mi Kola 2 Tnu

Originated in Battambang, Mi Kola can only be found in this province. However, we got quite different opinions on this food. There are people who like it and there are people who don’t like it. We can’t say that it’s everyone’s favorite, but you can at least try it out when you get there.

The local chicken gives off a sweet flavor and no strange odor, unlike the industrial chicken that’s what makes everyone love it.

#9 Breakfast at Sor Heu Middle School

We called it Bay Sroub (Grilled Pork with Rice) here. It’s a common breakfast for Cambodian people. A dish of grilled pork with rice always comes with a small bowl of pickle that will surely make all greasiness go away. But it will require you to come early or it will be sold out.
